Play Instant Games on Facebook Messenger App
Fancy a quick round of Pac-Mac while you’re chatting with your friend on Messenger? You can do that now as the recent update for Messenger comes with a feature called Instant Games.
Available for both iOS and Android versions of the Messenger app, users can now launch a game through the chat app by tapping on the controller button located just above the text entry box.

Instant Games comes with a selection of 17 games, ranging from arcade classics like Pac-Man and Galaga to more modern games like Words With Friends and Hex. All of the games are created in HTML5, allowing you to play the games directly from your browser.
All games under the Instant Games feature will have its own leaderboard, allowing you to compete with your friends. Additionally, you can post your best scores and achievements to your News Feed. Should your friends wish to challenge your scores, clicking on the News Feed post will automatically boot up the corresponding game on their device.
If you’re a developer who wishes to develop games for the Instant Games platform, Facebook has a closed beta system that allows developers to register their interest in developing for the platform.
Currently, Instant Games has rolled out in 30 different countries. If Instant Games is unavailable on your Messenger app right now, you can expect the feature to go live within the next few days.
