How to use different HitPaw Screen Recorder modes?

As I’ve mentioned before, this app is pretty user-friendly, however, to help you explore its different features and sub-features, I am going to show you how to use three of the tool’s main screen recording modes.

Screen Recording

In the following steps, I am going to highlight the steps for conducting screen recording with HitPaw. Let’s take a look.

1. Launch HitPaw and go to Record Screen in the menu that appears.



2. To capture the entire screen click once. If you want to capture a specific area, move the mouse to select that area.
3. Once you choose any of these options, you’ll see a menu bar at the top. Here click on the red Record button to start your screen recording.



4. From the menu bar you can also take screenshots through the camera icon, or draw on your selected area through the pen icon.



5. Once you’re done, you can click the Record button again to stop the recording.

Picture in Picture Recording

Picture in picture recording is one of the most interesting features of the HitPaw tool. You can do the PIP recording by following the below steps.

1. Launch HitPaw and go to Record Screen in the menu that appears.
2. From the menu bar that appears, click on the PIP icon to start picture in picture recording.



3. From a sub-menu, you can select which PIP mode would you like – big camera small screen or big screen small camera etc. You can also select the position and size of your PIP recording and tinker with some webcam settings.



4. Once you select the desired option, the recording will automatically start. You can stop or pause this recording with their respective button in the menu bar.
5. The recorded video will open up in an editor window from where you can edit or save it in the output folder.

How to Record Webcam

If you want to create webcam recording using HitPaw, here are the steps that you need to follow:

1. Launch HitPaw and go to Record Webcam in the menu that appears.



2. You will see a window with the webcam on. By clicking on the webcam icon, you can modify different settings like the resolution and frames per second.
