Add Responsive Social Buttons to Websites Easily with RRSSB
Social sharing buttons are still incredibly powerful at driving traffic and bringing attention to your site. You can always use custom count badges but they’re not always easy to set up.
The newest and simplest way to go is RRSSB, Ridiculously Responsive Social Sharing Buttons (what an acronym!).

Every button comes with an SVG logo of the social media site, along with a unique color to match the branding. These buttons are really simple to set up and they work for absolutely any layout.
The beauty of RRSSB badges lies in customization. You can choose which badges keep the labels, which ones use logos, and how many to include.
Just by looking at the “All sites” page, you’ll find 14 social networks for sharing links, along with defaults such as email & print. Currently, the following social networks are supported:
- Tumblr
- VK
- Google Plus
- YouTube
- Hacker News
- Github
Of course, you don’t need to include all networks, so you can whittle down your favorites.
You can also find active code snippets on GitHub that you can copy/paste into your site. Best of all, RRSSB comes with a free WordPress plugin to automatically install these badges for every page on your WordPress blog.
Note this library does require SVG support for the best experience. It can use a JavaScript fallback but this will take longer to load.
Ultimately, I really like this plugin because it’s clean and it just works. Amazing resource for social sharing and it comes at the incredible price tag of free!
