Getting Started With OnLive Desktop
First, you needed to install OnLive Desktop on your iPad from the App Store. Once installed, you would head over to the OnLive Desktop website to register an account.
After registering, you would open the OnLive Desktop app on your iPad and sign in with your account.
Once signed in, you would see a Windows interface on your iPad screen with full functionality, including pre-installed Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and Adobe Reader.
You could then open Microsoft Word by clicking the desktop icon and use it just as you would on your Windows desktop.
The same applied to Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
With OnLive Desktop, you could create new or edit existing Microsoft Office documents directly from your iPad.
Additionally, you could upload documents from any computer to your OnLive Desktop account, making them accessible from your iPad. To upload, you would simply log in to the OnLive Desktop website, where the upload button would appear in the middle of the page.
